-Museum Partisan Program
BACKGROUND
Often times Museums are, and behave quite closed, disenfranchising other institutions, private individuals and some part of the public as well. Our experience reveals that nearly all Museums do this by design or intent.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ISSUE
It is a real challenge for Museums and similar organizations to come to grips with the realization that there are other people with a strong interest and knowledge of variety of subjects.
Often individuals have ideas for exhibits, but rarely get heard or the idea come to life.
RESOLUTION
The Imperial Russian Museum of North America is aware that such expertise and or interest is a good source of interest, enthusiasm, accuracy, and quality assurance. NONE of which you can rent. It is by our choice to readily accept, include, and manage external ideas, knowledge, and influences. This resolution is Museum policy. As a statement of policy, this element as a resolution is totally unique in the industry.
...and lately such expertise is contributing a whole lot of information.ACTION
